Job Description
International company is looking for a Laravel / WordPress Developer cum Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our clients. You will work closely with our design team to create custom themes and plugins that enhance the functionality and user experience of our websites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites for our clients
- Work with our design team to create custom themes and plugins
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with WordPress websites
- Optimize website performance and implement SEO best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development
- Knowledge of SEO best practices would be a PLUS
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other CMS
- Knowledge of project management online tools (Trello, Clickup, etc.)
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js
- Experience with AWS or other cloud hosting services
- Familiarity with Git version control system
